After graduating from Loyola College in 1978 with a Bachelor's in accounting, Edward spent two years sailing on the original Pride of Baltimore. Once back on dry land he began working for the Internal Revenue Service in December 1980. By the end of his tenure with the IRS he had been promoted to a GS-13 Revenue Agent and spent time on the Quality Review Staff where he reviewed the work of other Revenue Agents.
Edward earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore Law School, where he spent time on the University of Baltimore Law Review. He has spent more than 35 years representing individuals and businesses before the IRS and the Comptroller of Maryland.
Outside of work Edward is an avid outdoorsman and history buff. He has summited Mount Washington, Rainier, Whitney, and Hood with his two sons, and goes sailing whenever he gets an opportunity.
